Why bookmarks, history, and tabs should adapt to how people actually work.

Traditional browsers treat bookmarks and history as static lists. In practice, people work in contexts: client projects, research threads, daily routines.

A workflow-aware browser layer would:

  • Group links by intent rather than raw URL
  • Make it easy to resume yesterday’s work without hunting
  • Offer gentle, privacy-respecting nudges when you’re going off-track
